Chapter Nominations

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY...

The Greater Polk County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) hosts an annual awards program to recognize outstanding charitable work of individuals, foundations, corporate philanthropists, and fundraising volunteers. AFP is pleased to honor those who invest their time, talents and finances to make a difference and create impact in our community.

REMINDER: Any Polk County non-profit (AFP membership not required) can submit nominations for each category. Additionally, any Polk County non-profit can co-sponsor a nomination with another Polk County non-profit for each category.

The awards (see categories below) are typically presented during a breakfast program each November. Due to the ever-changing COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, the NPD committee is formulating a plan to celebrate our nominees and our community while ensuring the safety of all participants.

Deadline to submit nominations is 5:00 pm - August 1, 2020.

No late submissions will be accepted.

If your nominee is selected as a finalist in their category for the event, you will be notified no later than August 21, 2020. Normally, finalists are required to attend the November NPD awards program. During these uncertain times, we will continue to monitor the social distancing requirements and communicate our plans as we move forward.
