AFP National Philanthropy Day

Join us in recognizing the profound impact of fundraising and philanthropy in our community.

Nominations will be accepted from organizations who wish to recognize an individual, family, service club, business or family foundation that has provided an important gift of time, expertise and resources to your organization.

Please note, organizations may submit up to 2 nominations.

Each resepective award category will be capped at 5 honorees for the 2026 National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon, November 10, 2026 at The Hotel Saskatchewan.

Guidelines:

1. Please ensure you have consent from the nominee and grant AFP South Saskatchewan the right to share submitted nomination and images on website and all social media channels

2. Although nominations may be received in multiple categories, individuals/organizations shall be recognized in a maximum of one (1) category

3. The National Philanthropy Day Committee has the right to edit your nomination statement for use in the recipient program.

4. Nominating organizations are NOT required to be members of the AFP South Saskatchewan Chapter.

5. Past award recipients are eligible if they are nominated by a different organization/award or have been previously recognized by the same nominating organization more than five years prior.

6. If a nominee is being recognized by two organizations in the same year, NPD committee may work with both nominating organizations on a co-nomination.

7. The nominating organization must submit this online nomination form and also submit a high resolution photograph of the nominee no later than August 30, 2026. This photo will be included in the printed program and presentation at the event.

*Those individuals and/or non-profit organizations who receive compensation for their efforts do not qualify for an award
